Shaunie O'Neal is prepping for her second season of VH1's Basketball Wives. Shaunie called into The Morning After with Angela Yee to discuss the reunion and the second season of Basketball Wives.
The reunion show will be airing Father's Day and there are some upcoming changes in the show. Basketball Wives will now be aired for and hour vs half an hour, plus 12 episodes instead of 8 and yes Gloria Govan will not be on the next season!
During the interview, Shaunie revealed that Gloria was already on the cast for the show before the affair with her husband, Shaq and Gloria's sister, Laura Govan was revealed. Shaunie did her best to try to get Gloria off the show, but it was too late since Gloria had already signed the contracts.
Shaunie also addressed the twitter rants made by Matt Barnes about her; "I think he got his little 5 minutes of shine just being part of the show to be honest. From what I hear most people didn't know his name before the show."
As a Basketball wife, Shaunie gives additional details on dealing with groupies trying to get with your husband, but admits throughout her marriage to Shaq that she was 100% faithful and spent a majority of her time with their children and at the arena to cheer on her husband.
Shaunie is already working on her next TV venture with "Football Wives".
