Supermodel Naomi Campbell suffered a bad hair day - to say the least - on a New York fashion shoot after she revealed a huge bald patch underneath her luscious long wig, Onlookers were left stunned on Monday after Campbell - who is known for throwing temper tantrums – showed the true extent of her vanishing hairline. They got a peek of her horrible hair condition as she held her tresses back while a stylist adjusted her clothes at the shoot for designer Dennis Basso. It appears the 40-year-old is suffering from a condition known as ‘traction alopecia’ which is associated with braiding, weaving and extensions.

Lay off John Legend's hairline

After John Legend was honored with the Humanitarian Award for his various charitable efforts in Haiti and Africa from BET, he found himself the hot topic on the twitter feed about his hairline. 

All day comments about John Legend's hairline was posted. The R&B singer responded, quite angrily some would argue, via Twitter.

“Btw, my hairline has been the same since I was a kid. Can’t believe some people are obsessing about it now. I’ve been famous for 6 yrs now,” he wrote.  “And to the haters, I’m still smarter, more talented, more successful and better looking than u. So fall back … Sorry y’all. Couldn’t believe my hairline was a trending topic. Get a life!”

Legend issued an apology soon afterwards for his angry rant 

“My lesson: don’t be distracted by nonsense and focus on what matters,” he wrote. “I shouldn’t have stooped. We all live and learn. Back to songwriting.”

Security guard accuses Britney Spears of sexual harassment and child abuse

Former bodyguard of Brintney Spears, Fernando Flores left his security position. Allegedly Flores complained that he was sexually harassed by the pop diva. Britney made him feel uncomfortable walking around her home naked all the time and says that she abused her sons, Jayden and Sean Federline. 


Social services is now investigating Britney and the treatment of her children. The alleged abuse is from Britney asking Flores for his belt to reprimand her children.

Lil Bosie headed to court on murder charges

Baton Rouge rapper Lil' Boosie will appear in court for a hearing related to his indictment for first-degree murder. Some of the other men facing charges related to a string of shootings in Baton Rouge are also scheduled to show up for the hearing. Lil' Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was indicted on June 17 in connection with the shooting death of Terry Boyd. The 27-year-old Hatch was also indicted on drug charges.

Hatch was indicted in the October 21st shooting death of Terry Boyd. Michael Louding and Adrian Pittman are also indicted on first degree charges on Boyd's murder. East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore says all three of the alleged killers meet the criteria of first degree charges. Moore said that the death penalty is not out of the question. Hatch and girlfriend Walnita Decuir along with a former Dixon Correctional Institute guard and an inmate were also indicted on drug charges.

Police records say Boosie and the two men fired shots into the home of Terry Boyd, then 35. The rapper allegedly was in possession of ecstasy, codeine and marijuana. All three men were charged with conspiracy for their part in the act, police say. A district attorney said the death penalty was not out of the question.

Nicki Minaj No lip syncing at the 2010 BET Awards

Nicki Minaj has been catching slack for her 2010 BET Awards performance, being accused of lip syncing it. Nicki has responded, stating that she could be heard in the auditorium but the the sound did not come across on the TV broadcast. 


Twitter is not flooded with comments from various sources, calling Nicki out. 

Queen Latifah creeping out the details

While hosting the 2010 BET Awards, Queen Latifah came out the closet. The introduction of "Diddy" was taking place on stage when Queen announced "Diddy, a man who stays in the company of beautiful women. Much like myself.". 


Then again it could be that Queen got back into her character Cleo from the Movie "Set it off".  Did you notice on how Queen dressed from each movie that she has been in, so maybe it wasn't a confession, only time will tell.

Jay-Z's Girl Songwriter, Producer, and Rapper AUDacity set to perform

Iranian American performer and songwriter Bobby "AUDacity Pershen will be performing at VANGUARD in Hollywood with international pop star ARASH on July 4th. AUDacity, who is best known for his single Jay-Z's Girl, will be playing songs from his new release "The Cool Tape." Some of the other acts include DJ Peyman Z, DJ Kash, DJ Saeed G, and DJ Dr. T.

The 'BET AWARDS '10 Draws 7.4 Million Total Viewers, Remains The #1 Cable Awards Show

The live premiere of the BET AWARDS '10 on Sunday, June 27, drew 7.4 Million Total Viewers, making it the #1 cable awards show among adults 18-49 for the fifth consecutive year. (NMR, Live + Same Day, 6/27). This year's show, which aired from 8:00-11:30 p.m.,* marked the tenth anniversary of the BET AWARDS and featured a moving tribute to Michael Jackson where Chris Brown channeled the King of Pop while dancing to a montage of his classics like "The Way You make Me Feel," "Remember The Time," "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," and then broke down to tears singing "Man In The Mirror." Kanye West and T.I. each made their return to the stage with powerful performances that also tore down the house.

BET 2010 Awards Recap

There was not a dry-eye in the house at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 27, 2010 when Chris Brown took to the BET AWARDS '10 stage to honor the late Michael Jackson. Kanye West opened the show with a monumental performance of "Power" atop a smoky crag of rocks marking his return to the Awards show spotlight and circuit. King of the South T.I., backed by Travis Barker on drums and flaming pyrotechnics, tore the house down with his first national TV performance since being released from prison. Brown, West and T.I.'s show-stopping performances at this year's tenth anniversary BET AWARDS '10 provide platform for these three artists to re-emerge from the ashes for the negative publicity they recently faced to reclaim their status as superstars.

Just two days after the one-year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson, Jermaine Jackson introduced Chris Brown who channeled the legendary Michael Jackson while dancing to classics like "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Remember The Time," "Billie Jean" and an out-of-this-world silhouetted-in-white-lights version of "Smooth Criminal." But it wasn't until Chris Brown fell to his knees visibly broken down in tears, tortured with what could only be described as self-reflection during his own rendition of "Man In The Mirror," did the audience come to his rescue and help him finish the song in an ominous choir of song that would have truly made Michael Jackson proud.

Later in the show, when accepting his 2010 Fandemonium Award, Chris Brown said, "I just want to say, I let you all down before and I won't do it again."

Trey Songz's soulful performance of "Yo Side of the Bed" illustrated just why he was named the 2010 Best Male R&B Artist before transitioning into Prince's classic "Purple Rain," which led into one of the undeniable standout performances of the night.

Legendary musician Prince was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award and his tribute was a performance of a lifetime. Beginning with a remote video message from a legend himself Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae dazzled with her signature feminine tomboy threads and eccentric dance moves on "Let's Go Crazy." Esperanza Spalding jazzed up the room with her electric upright bass and Afro while singing "If I Was Your Girlfriend" before Alicia Keys crawled barefoot on her piano bringing Prince to his feet with "Adore." But it was Patti LaBelle who literally kicked off her heels, which Prince caught, to honor the pop culture icon with his classic "Purple Rain." Chaka Khan was also on hand to help pay respects

Additional highlights of the 10+ performances include: El DeBarge bringing the audience to their feet to dance in the aisles during his medley of his classics like "All My Love" and "Rhythm of the Night;" Usher, dressed in all white levitating high above, commanding the BET Awards '10 stage with a sizzingly sultry performance of "There Goes My Baby" backed by a 12-piece string section; Alicia Keys, poised at a black piano adorned with blue lights, opening up her medley of hits with "No One" followed by "Try Sleeping" before being joined onstage by Kim Burrell on "If I Ain't Got You;" 10-year-old Gabby Wilson singing a shockingly spot-on rendition of Alicia Keys' "Fallin'" on her 10th birthday to help Queen Latifah introduce Keys' performance; Monica dressed in a gravity-defying black ensemble dueting with Deniece Williams.

Ludacris and DJ Khaled closed the show with a high-energy performance of "My Chick Bad" followed by beats from an asylum-straight-jacket-bound Nicki Minaj. Bringing a rock-fueled edge to the final song of the night with Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain and Diddy on "All I Do Is Win" was Motley Crue's Tommy Lee backed by a drumline.

This year's in memoriam tribute was led by Todd Bridges paying respects to his former co-star Gary Coleman followed by a photo montage of those who passed this year and a Teddy Pendergrass tribute performance by Tyrese who sang "Come Go With Me" and "Close The Door."

In continuing the good that BET's S.O.S.: Saving Ourselves telethon started back in February 2010, which raised over $1 Million for Haitian relief efforts, the BET AWARDS '10's contained a special Haiti memorial performance of "Are You Listening" from gospel greats Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp, Kim Burrell and Karen Clark Sheard.

Shots fired after Michael Vick's birthday party

New York Post is reporting that some shoots was fired after Michael Vick celebrated his 30th birthday party in Virginia Beach. The celebration, "Michael Vick's All White 30th Birthday Bash" was opened to the public for an admission charge of $50.00. 

An investigation is taking place where police have stated that Vick is of no interest in the investigation. There was one wounded unnamed man that was wounded during the shooting and police have yet to determine the cause of the shooting. 

Did Tyler Perry fire his entire staff over Boondocks mockery?

via Carlton Jordon: According to a source, Tyler Perry is a drag queen scorned!!! Word on the streets is the recent  ’Boondocks’ episode, that mocked everything TP hit a deep nerve with the mogul.  Our source claims he’s paranoid and believes it was an inside job – based on the show’s accuracy!!!

Our source also says that Madea is giving pink slips to his entire staff [not the shirtless boy wonders of course] starting Friday – - he wants to control any leaks of information about  ”the compound!!”

Dwayne Wade's divorce finalized

Looks like the drama is finally over for Dwayne Wade as his divorce from his now ex-wife, Siohvaughn Wade. Although Wade's divorce drama is over with, the battle for the custody of the couple's two sons are under way. Wade has already been granted temporary custody. 

Oprah Winfrey show contest rigged

The Oprah Winfrey Network and Oprah Winfrey have been scammed in reference to Oprah seeking a new show for her "O" network. Spam blogs have been set up with racist tones to distract people of the current contest. 

"Oprah riggs contest in favor of African American" is now Goggle's hottest search topic. Seems as Geekosystem.com and a forum, 4chan.com has been used to rigg the voting for a contestant named Zach Anner. Fans of Zach Anner, who is wheelchair bound, wanted him to win the nationwide contest so badly, they went as far as to rigg the voting in the favor of Zach. 

Fans of Zach Anner were in fear of Dr. Phyllis, (African American) with a school based reality show, was in the lead and could possibly win. So the spam blogging started with stories of Oprah favoring Dr. Phyllis after a huge rank in votes for her. 

Geekosystem has posted a one-sheet instruction list that asked people to use it and you can see here. It allegedly contains a macro, which is a kind of program, that will automatically vote for anyone other that, and this is what's written on it "Dr. Nigger." 

Rihanna has Barbados residents upset

Singer Rihanna was given a gift by the Politicians of Barbados with a parcel of land. Now after gifting Rihanna with this land, the Politicians have been called out by the local residents for giving land to the singer. The residents in Barbados struggling everyday and was insulted with the giving away of the land. 


The property is located in Apes Hill and was giving away by Minister of Housing and Lands Michael Lashley as a thank you gift for encouraging an interest in the Caribbean Island Nation.  Minister Gline Clarke spoke out, blasting the government for giving Rihanna the land when she is already wealthy. "Why is the government paying millions of dollars for land for someone who's already making millions?"

Investigation closed on Fat Joe and his entourage of rape charges

Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, and others have been officially cleared by the Madison Wisconsin Police Department of any wrongdoing. Fat Joe had no contact with, and never spoke to his accuser. He was questioned for a few minutes at his hotel room and was never detained by the police.

Making a false claim of a sexual nature in order to extort money is one of the most horrific accusations because it not only tarnishes reputations but has the potential to destroy families. Alicia Keys Selects "Head Blogger" for I Am a Super Woman.com's Fall 2010 Launch

Alicia Keys and AK Worldwide announced today that Alexis Tirado has landed the highly-coveted Head Blogger position for Keys' soon-to-be-launched website IAAS.com (I Am A Super Woman). In April, Alicia Keys partnered with Monster.com, the leading job matching engine, to launch a national pursuit for the Head Blogger of IAAS.com.

Tirado previously served as an online editor at Martha Stewart, where she increased total page views by 500% and spearheaded the "Dreamers Into Doers" project online as well as for Martha Stewart's radio channel. As a freelance writer, the New Jersey native has contributed to Latina, Village Voice, and Time Out New York.

American Airlines flew the top 10 applicants to New York to meet the selection committee and then flew the final three applicants out to Keep a Child Alive's Black Ball in the UK for the final interview with Alicia Keys.

Mike Tyson's charity choice Phoenix Children's Hospital

 

Mike Tyson is challenging his #1 fan to a virtual battle on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Vanguard LA (http://www.vanguardla.com) This event is being presented by BringIT.com (http://www.bringit.com) and Big Movement Media (http://www.bigmovementmedia.com). Lamborghini Travels is donating 25% of proceeds from their sponsorship of the event to the Phoenix Children's Hospital were Tyson's daughter received care before passing away one year ago.  In May of 2009 Mike Tyson's 4 year old daughter Exodus was involved in a horrendous home accident and was taken to intensive care unit at the Phoenix Children's Hospital.  Mike Tyson expressed his desire to make the donation to the ward where Exodus spent her last moments when the question was asked by venue sponsors, Big Movement Media.

Although Khloe Kardashian married Laker Lamar Odom, you would think that some basketball wives would have open arms, not! In Touch Weekly has reported that wife of Lakers Kobe Bryant, Vanessa is not too fond of the reality star turn basketball wife. 

During Laker games when Khloe is in attendence, Vanesssa has not sat anywhere near her and thinks the Kardashians' are just fame seekers. To make things worse, a dinner held for the basketball wives, the Lakers' wives made sure that Khloe was not invited. This is not the first beef the two have had with each other and it seems the drama will continue. 

Another Touchdown for Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian, just two months after ending her three year on and off relationship with Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, Kim has a new boy toy.  Now Kim is being escorted by Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. 


The two met in a restaurant in L.A. where numbers where exchanged and the two have hit it off ever since. The word is that Kim is just having some fun and the couple have yet to confirm their relationship.   

Ludacris to host BET Awards Black Carpet Post Party

Hip hop artist and actor Ludacris will host the BET Awards Black Carpet Post Party in Hollywood following the 2010 BET Awards. Ludacris has won several awards including 5 BET awards and is once again nominated for "Best Male Hip Hop Artist" at this year's award show. Guests will include some of this year's award show nominees, presenters and performers. The event will feature surprise guest performances and much more.

New website launch for Michael Jackson photos

A new web site devoted to late singer Michael Jackson, www.MJPhotosCollectors.com has launched to coincide with the one year anniversary of the star's passing. Co-founded by long time Jackson chronicler and archivist Ron Sweet, the site opened May, 2010 and has quickly grown to what Sweet now calls "the largest online gallery of high res Michael Jackson photos on the internet." Already boasting nearly 20,000 photos of the pop icon, Sweet hopes to capitalize on the upcoming one-year anniversary of Jackson's passing this Friday, June 25th.

Jackson will again be in the public forefront this week, as various print and broadcast media plan special tributes to the late singer, including music industry publication Billboard's "Rediscovering Michael Jackson", currently on newsstands. Networks such as BET are planning extensive tribute programming to commemorate the anniversary, including BET's airing of a special episode of "106th & Park," and an extensive tribute planned for their 2010 BET Awards airing June 27th at 8 p.m.

The site's extensive gallery features thousands of rare live and candid photos spanning Jackson's entire life and career. "These photos are 'little pieces of his life', and each one tells part of his story", Sweet says. According to Sweet, the gallery includes photos beginning when Jackson was an infant in the late 1950's, all the way up through June 23rd, 2009 while he continued rehearsals for his planned "This Is It" concerts. Sweet hopes that Jackson fans and the general public use the site's gallery to "celebrate the highs and lows of an amazing artist's rise to superstardom." Nearly 1000 members have already registered on the site, now about one month old.

Jackson passed away unexpectedly June 25th, 2009 at age 50. Fans around the world plan vigils, parties, and numerous events celebrating the life and career of the pop star. Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, who is self-publishing a book this week of family photographs, recently told Britain's Mail she wants her son to "be remembered as the loving person he was." In the interview, she says "I love looking at photos of my children singing and dancing together, when they looked happy. I hope people continue to remember Michael and keep celebrating his legacy."

New Jackson Releases & Planned Promotions

Waves of licensed Jackson merchandise and releases are slated for 2010 and beyond. In March, Jackson's estate, led by co-executors John Branca and John McClain, signed a 10-album deal with Sony Music worth a reported $250 million. Planned for this November is an as yet untitled collection of previously unreleased tracks, as well as repackages of Jackson's first solo effort "Off the Wall," (1979) and 1987's "Bad." According to Nielsen SoundScan, Jackson's CD catalog has sold 9 million copies in the year since his passing. Currently in pre-production is a Cirque du Soleil show based on Jackson's music, along the lines of their highly acclaimed "Love" production featuring music from The Beatles.

Music magazine Billboard estimated Jackson's estate has generated at least $1 billion in revenues in the past year, mostly through record sales, the "This Is It" concert movie, and licensing rights. The Wall Street Journal said Monday that executors of Jackson's estate have paid off nearly $200 million of the $500 million debt the singer left behind in the last year.
